A lot has been said recently about the causes of Gulf War Illness among bloggers, some good, some bad. It should be noted that 8 of 9 Rand Corporation publications examining possible causes of Gulf War Illness are now available at Rand Publications online.  They are available in .html or .pdf. The full document is available as well as the report are related publications.
     Subject covers:
1. Infectious diseases
2. Pyridostigmine bromide
3.
4. Stress
5. Chemical biological warfare
6. Oil well fires
7. Depleted uranium
8. Pesticides
9. Use of unapproved drugs
Much of this research was funded and completed under the Clinton administration but was not released to the public until 2000 or 2001, just prior to the passing of public law 107-103, signed by President Bush. It's a lot of reading, but it is reliable.
You should also check the Pitts and Associates legal updates for where to find some independent medical research. They don't have any Internet links, but they do have publications and dates. If you find any Internet links that we can use, contact me or my web mistress and we'll put them up on the web site for everyone's reference.
I also went to the CDC's web site and did a search for Gulf War babies and found 77 hits. The most interesting one is Gulf War Studies Birth Defects.
There were also 176 hits when I searched for Gulf War cancer. I cannot begin to read all of this, but I have received letters from vets with lymphoma, breast cancer, etc. ask for help, so I hope there is something here you can use.
